My wife had this suggestion to assist when grabbing for the toll ticket at toll booths. The toll ticket typically clings to the windshield once inserted under the holder, making grabbing it later nearly impossible.

Just stick on a 1/4 inch clear rubbery cabinet door bumper about a 1/2 an inch above the clear plastic toll ticket holder and mount it inline with the curve where the holder contacts the windshield. This will always keep the edge of the toll ticket off the windshield and help you in grabbing for the ticket when you need to get at it when paying tolls at the tool booth.
