Does my stock stereo have an amp already?!?!?!? 850 1997

Guys I need your help here........ I am upgrading my stereo and I was wondering.... The car audio tech said that it sounds like I already have an amp in the car. I have a Sc811 I think it's called. It says "premium" sound system. Everything is stock though. I am putting in a bunch of speakers and was wondering if I can wire the speakers directly since the guys says that it sounds like it already has an amp inside, or sould I go ahead and buy an amp too?
And another thing.... I've been doing some reading about an "anti-theft" code for the stereo if it is removed. I have NO IDEA where mine is. How can I get it in case I need to hook up an amp to it??

P.S. I'm hiding in a cave somewhere playing twister for those of you wondering.
