Error codes 232 and 435 850 1995

I am receiving two error codes. The first is under A-1, 2-3-2, Speedometer signal missing.

The second was under A-2 code 4-3-5, Heated oxygen sensor H02S front, slow

Also, it was rather scary, because when this happened, I was driving home at night. Almost every light in the car went out, including headlights, taillights and brakelights. They would eventually come back on, and I was left with a flashing arrow and a check engine light.

I understand the oxygen sensor, but I am a little concerned about the speedo code and the lights going out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
