Anyone in the US interested in an XC with manual transmission? It seems that VCNA never type-certificated the manual in this country, citing weak demand. I called Volvo Sweden and asked them to look into the possibility of geting one certified for the US market, and told them that I was not interested in buying a new one without the manual. If you want them to hear your voice, send your comments to GCR@volvocars.com (Global Customer Relations). If enough people indicate interest, they may put the paperwork forward. Don't let the corporate wienies keep us from getting what we want!
