Volvoparts.com vs. my local ripoff dealer: you make the call! 850 1996

In case anyone was interested in why they should patronize Dan at volvoparts.com or any of the other internet merchants who advertise on the brickboard:

I just flushed my tranny fluid. Bought a spare hose retainer clamp (p/n 6842411) and a spare O-ring (6842413) from my local dealer instead of volvoparts.com, even though I wasted Dan's time by finding out his prices (please forgive me Dan, I got antsy).

Anyway:

Clamp: $2.65 volvoparts.com, my local dealer: $5.81
O-ring: $1.41 volvoparts.com, my local dealer: $3.10

Think of the money that can be saved on more expensive bits for your Volvo!

FYI, I don't work for volvoparts.com, and I am sure comparable deals are to be had from Southwest Auto, newandusedvolvoparts.com, fcpgorton.com, Swedish Engineering, rprusa.com and anyone else I may have missed. But I just thought I would mention it, and of course you all knew this already so I'll shut up now...
