Does anyone know anything about Bilstein shocks for 850's?

I have been thinking about replacing my heavy duty struts on the R model with Bilsteins when they wear out--supposedly to make the ride significantly smoother. Has anyone had experiences with them? How are they compared to standard 850 shocks? My dealer says they won't fit my 850-R. Any comments?
