Headlamp Warranty S40-V40 2000

Had my first headlight go last week at 19K miles. Happened on Sunday so I replaced the H7 bulb. Called local dealer, they said it was a warranty item. When I showed up to get my bulb, they said they would not get compensation from Volvo since their was no work order to change the bulb. I offered to put the bad bulb back in. In the end I was supplied a new bulb.
