1996 850 turbo remote programing 850

can some one help me with the programing for the keyless remote for a 96 850 turbo. i have one remote the 2 button one with lock and unlock, so i bought another one like that on ebay and i tried the 5 time on off programing and it did not work. is a 96 different or is it possible that there are different types of 2 button remotes. please help, thanks
