Oil filter housing S70 1999

Is there a tool that dealers and others use to grasp the oil filter housing on a S70 T5? I can barely get my fingers around it and can turn it about 20 degrees at a time but with great difficulty until it loosens below the o-ring seal. I'm wondering if maybe those rubber strap wrench tools would work. Any suggestions?
