Car starts but noisy for 5 seconds after 850 1996

Hi all,

I've been having this problem for a week or so. The car starts in the morning, but then there is noise coming from the motor ( more in the front, to the right of the radiator fan). It sounds like a metal "fan" is spinning up but rubbing against ohher metal parts. This noise lasts for a few seconds and then it sounds like this "fan" comes to a sudden stop with a loud screeching sound.

I've just had my oil changed but the noise is still there and it can only be heard on the first start in the morning (I'm in Canada so the temperature is still below freezing in the morning) I've got the car at a dealer, but I just want to make sure that I'm prepared for what they are going to tell me... Could it be the starter ? Will it need to be changed ?
