won't restart after backing out of garage 850 1993

I remember this type of post in the past, but not the rememdy. My daughter backed my car out of the garage and turned it off. Now it won't restart. This has happened once or twice in the past after a quick start and then shutting it off. In the past I have had to wait days to get it to restart. Something about a vapor lock comes to mind, but I can't remember. Any solutions or remedies to get me running again?
