Electric Fan & AM reception S80

I recently had my 1999 S80 in for an alignment (another story entirely), but tehy also perfomed a service order and replaced the electric fan. When I picked up the car, i immediately noticed that my AM reception is much worse. Upon further monitoring, the reception gets worse after running the car for a while, which I was guessing might be becuase the cooling fan is on. Has anyone experienced the same, and devised a solution. I called the dealer and they pleaded ignorance, saying there was no way the fan replacement would affect reception. Thanks for the help. _Sean
