Type of ATF to be used in powersteering 850 1995

Does anyone know if there is a specific type of ATF one should use in the power steering system, i.e. like dexron I, II, III or type F or what? I know synthetic is also preferred but in SA it's not freely available. Also where do I find the power steering return line, is it somewhere on the pump?
