Smell Gasoline Everytime I Fill Up 850 1994

Everytime I fill up the tank there is a smell of gasoline in the passenger compartment that lasts a few days . What can cause this problem? Could it be that I'm over-filling the tank? I don't "top off" when I refill the gas tank and I tighten the gas cap.
