98 S70 GLT sunroof rattle S70

At speeds from 30 - 50 MPH, the wind deflector on the open sunroof rattles like crazy. I can stop it by slipping a dime between the defelctor and the roof flange. Any idea how to permanently fix the rattle? My mechanic is stumpted. He said everything is firmly seated and appears normal.
