Anyone used Bilsetins in rear OEM in the front? S70 1998

I an thinking of putting bilsteins on My '98 T5M, I like don't want the car to get any harsher a ride but would like some increase in hadling. I have read a lot about bilsteins making the car ride harsher, but I also read the posts of Volvospeed which seem to attribute the harshness to the struts. Any thoughts?
