O.K., gentlemen. I attempted to replace my old flame trap yesterday and got everything apart down to a hose clamp on one of the larger nipples of the flame trap fitting. I have never seen a clamp like this before and wondered how to release/remove it. It does not have the standard slotted head for a screwdriver or socket to loosen. It looks something like a woman's diamond ring setting without the diamond. Can anyone tell me how to remove this type of hose clamp?
Needless to say it was Sunday when I attempted this and nothing was open after dinner to purchase another clamp if I screwed up.
