sunroof grinding noise. someone please help!! 850

as i retract the sunroof and it is sliding back, there is a grinding noise on the left side right above my head. i was wondering if possibly it needs to be grease up or if something could have gotten caught in the track. someone please let me know if you have any suggestions. thanks.
