PNP Switch Replacement 850

I was wondering if anyone has attempted this. I have the instructions from Bay 13 at volvospeed. I was at a Volvo repair shop today and they told me not to attempt it. They want $330 to do the job. If anyone out there has done this, please let me know if this is something I can tackle and what your experience was in doing it. I'm pretty much mechanically inclined and have done other repairs to the car. This is a '96 850 turbo. Thanks! Joe
