When to do an Engine Flush?

I bought some engine flush stuff not too long ago. I went to get an oil change and put Mobile1 for the first time and asked the guy if I should do the engine flush. He said that people do it when they change from synthetic oil to regular, not from regular to synthetic. So... when should I use the engine flush???

P.S. I have about 75K miles on my 97 GLT LP Turbo.
