Rattling noise from blower fan 850 1993

I'm looking at a 1993 850GLT to buy. Only problem I can identify is the blower fan is weak, and there's a rattling noise coming from inside the dash behind the glovebox.

Is the blower motor easy to replace? I've never owned a Volvo before. I know that in some cars, it's easy to do, and in other cars, it's major surgery.
