Crossovers in front speakers and amp? 850

I have a base Volvo 850 with no options except an automatic transmission. I was wondering if the car had any front crossovers because i just bought a pair of Infinity reference component speakers for my car and the installer said there were crossovers in the car already so he did not have to put in the infinity crossovers. I sort of don't believe him. Also would my car have a built in amplifiers somewhere?
