I'm wondering how important is it to get a Volvo specialist if I have a break down in the 1995 Volvo 850 I just bought. I've joined the CAA and they will tow me to the nearest service station or up to 5 km to the garage of my choice. Is it worth paying an extra Cdn $52/year for the "Plus" membership. It includes towing to the facility of my choice up to 160 km. I live in the Montréal area and would be more than 5 km away from a Volvo dealership, or specialist garage most of the time.
