Radio volume knob not working 850 1994

My vehicle has an SC-810 model radio and the volume knob doesn't always work. On low volumes, one speaker works. When turned up quite loud, all speakers will work but with some tweaking of the volume knob. I think there is a rheostat that controls the volume. Does anyone know where I can get this repaired or replaced? To me a new gizmo inside would cost a lot less than a new radio. Thanks in advance for any reply.
