Ok, here is the story: about 2 weeks back I decieded to be a maniac and adjust my wastegate to a ridiculous level (about 8 full turns) which produced about 16-17psi max boost. This was great, however since my 850 is damn near stock I am pretty sure I didnt have the right fuel delivery and either melted a piston/pistons, or possibly just had to much power and bent a connecting rod/connecting rods. My 850 T-5 has been in the shop for a couple of weeks now and they have been replacing everything such as my o-rings in my oil pan, also my oil pump, my lifters, and they still havent found the problem. I dont have to pay for all the shit that they have replaced and not fixed the problem, which I am sure is either a piston, or a Rod or something along those lines. This leads me to my questoin, about how much will it cost to replace piston/pistons, and how much more for forged =). And my second questoin is if it is not the pistons, how much to replace a connecting rod or two, and how much more for a stronger one, life from a V70R or something. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
