Having read the previous posts regarding the "check engine" light, I checked my codes and got errors on both o2 sensors. Searched for bad vacuum elbows and replaced most. Still got errors, so I replaced the front sensor with volvo(bosch) part. Still got an error for the rear and replaced it with a volvo sensor. I have finally got the " check engine" light to stay off, but my milage has gotten worse since replacing the second sensor (@ 17.0 MPG, I've gotten better than 19MPG when I first purchased car used one year ago. )DO I need to disconnect the battery to reset the computer or does resetting the light with the diagnostics input do the same thing? What else should I do to boost my fuel efficiency?
Thanks for feedback,
Jerry
