Replaced Radiator Hoses Today- Here's the Scoop 850

After 7 years and 70K miles I decided to replace my upper and lower radiator hose as well as the the hose that goes from the bottom of the coolant recovery tank to the engine.

Here are the Volvo oem part numbers for a 1995 Volvo Turbo :

Upper Hose - # 1335433-7
Lower Hose - # 9470409-5
Hose from Recovery Tank(frim bottom) - # 6842894-5

Except for the lower radiator hose- the job was simple.

For the lower radiator hose it will help you to get the car up in the air or ob jack stands. The lower hose is long and must be snaked underneath the air box.
It was a bit of a pain in the butt to install- just be patient. Watch the routing (you have to see with your hands).

Anyhow- thought I'd share with the group.

The old hoses actually looked to be in good shape. However, with the hot summers we have in Texas its just good insurance to replace the hoses than to risk an overheated engine.
