I recently just returned from a wonderful 1300 mile trip driving my 2002 v70.I used cruise control the entire time I was on the highway and had it set at 72 mph and the vehicle speed never, never went above 72 mph even though I was coasting down mountains ! I've owned 15 cars, and all except 1 had cruise control. they all would pick up speed as you coasted down mountains, hills etc. So, I am really curious to as how this car/cruise control is maintaining a constant speed ? I find it fasicinating ! anybody out there know how this cruise is able to do this ?
