I drive a '93 850, manual trans., with about 250,000 miles. With few exceptions it's been a great car. Recently it's offered up a sudden jolt while otherwise driving normally. Regardless of the gear I'm in, A/C on or off, I will experience a sudden jolt as if the brakes had been applied sharply, then released within a fraction of a second. While it has been hard to see which warning bulb lights, I have noticed on the lower right side of the instrument panel, a warning bulb lights, and then goes out (also within a fraction of a second). Otherwise, the car behaves flawlessly. I have not had this occur more than once between starts. Not symptoms like my fuel pump relay going bad (where the car just drifts) but a sudden loss of power accompanied by a momentary (and somewhat violent) decelleration. Any suggestions?
