I had a check engine light back in February 2002. Dealer said i needed a new iar pump and check valve for about $650. I pulled the air pump and it was filled with water...let it dry and it started working again. I replaced the check valve because it was alleged to be a defective part causing the water to get into the pump. Althought the new valve appeared the same it was suppose to be an update. Anyway, my check engine light is back...pump was again filled with water. I again got it to work but now think either the new valve is defective of I was never given the updated part. Any ideas?
