Antenna motor runs after antenna is up 850

After my antenna goes up to a point it stops going up, the motor still runs for several seconds. If I pull up on the antenna it comes up a little and stops making the noise but then it won't go down again until I push on it. The antenna is bent a little but it seems to go up and down ok, except for my little problem here. Can anyone give me some suggestions.
