Turbo timer + remote locks? S70

Does anyone have a turbo timer installed on a brick with factory remote locks? I'd really like to get a timer, but I'm worried I'll lose the remote locks. And I have no way to test whether or not the remote works with the engine running, but no key in the ignition...

This is on a '99 S70 T5M...
