Tranny slips worse after fluid change! 850

I have a '93 GLT, 120k, with a slipping tranny. I used the tranny conditioner and that thick goo for awhile and it helped a bit. Hoping to cure the problem, I did the fluid change (Mobile 1 synthetic) per Bay 13 but now it slips and whines like I'm killing it. Is this tranny toast, or is there some way I can get it back?
