Fricken Brakes Follow UP

I took the car to the dealership for a completely unrelated item. Check engine light went on. Dealer discovered that it was an oxygen sensor of some sort that costs $250 to replace. Dealer said that it will not affect the performance of the car, but the service light will come back on after reset. Rather than take the chance, I decided to have the part replaced. Most of the charge is labor the part is only $23. I was floored by the labor charge!!!

In addition, I also had the service tech check out the brakes and low and behold I need a new control arm on the left side...another $300 bananas with alignment. You guys were right.

Well I hope I don't have future problems with the car. Other than the little stuff, the car has been great.

Thanks again.
