I believe I've located the source of my coolant leak.

As I posted yesterday - I added the fluorscent dye to my radiator yesterday.

Today lo and behold, the dye showed up on my garage floor. I had seen some moisture but attributed it to the ac (since it wasn't the telltale green antifreeze).

I pulled the T-Belt cover and with my U/V lamp I can clearly see the fluorrescent yellow/green dye in the area below the water pumps seeping down the block and dripping off the oil pan.

It is hard to clearly confirm the water pump as the source - even with the front wheel off and looking thru the fendor its hard to obtain a complete view of the water pump.

It certainly is not leaking out of the weephole of the water pump. But may be leaking out of the shaft seal or around the gasket between the pump and block.

My bet is it is the water pump after all, Anyone have another idea ??

I recently installed a new T-Belt so I know how to get to the water pump. How difficult a job is it to remove the old pump and install a new one once the T-Belt is off??
