Front Driver/Passenger seat cover the same? 850

I've got leather seats, but the driver's side seat (not seatback) is very worn. I have done a repair on the cracked leather, and it looks O.K. but I question it's durability. The passenger side is virtually new.

Is it possible to switch the passenger seat cover with the driver seat cover?

Anybody done this?

Seems, too, that more decent passenger-side seat covers must be available in used car parts.
