I have a 2000 metallic-silver S40 that has some scratches on the hood and near the window. They were caused by my dog jumping out the window and scratching the door and boxes placed on the hood. It looks awful but may be superficial and I hope they can be buffed out or something. The finish is dull because the car has not been detailed in over a year. In addition, the bumper will have to be completely painted because my sister parked the car in the garage a little too close to the door and it scratched a big chunk of paint completely off.

Anyone know any good auto body detailer/painters in Northern California? I live in Stockton but am willing to travel for a good paint job. I love my Volvo and plan to keep it for a long time.
