Door Thingamajig Thingy Fixed- Here's the Scoop> 850

First off thanks to all that responded and hat's off again to Bay 13 for excellent illustrated instructions on how to remove the door panel!

Once I removed the door panel (piece of cake) I looked in and could see the thingamajig tingy (door strap?) was not centered/out of allignment. Took my torx socket and loosened the screw in the center of the thingamajiggy. Then simply realigned/centered the thingamajig in the thingamajig receptacle in the door.

Luber her up real good and opened and closed the door about 60 times and voila no noise.

Simple adjustemnt was all that apparently was needed.

However, FYI the Volvo part number for the thingamajiggy is #9187591 for a 1995 Volvo 850. Once the door panel is off it would have been a simple replacment.
