blower fan not working 850 1993

blower fan quit working....checked the codes and got 4-1-1 blower fan seized and 4-1-8 no control signal to blower fan power stage. Wife says she got out of car and when she came back out and started it th7t it was not working. Seems rather unlikely that two things would go at once. Anybody had this...or no what to do. I just replaced the blower fan a couple of months back...put a used one in, so I suppose it could have quit already.
