There's something wrong with my driver's seat, but I can't figure out why?

All the electric seat function buttons (up, down, forward, backwards) does not work. However, since this is a coupe, when I pull up on the lever (for rear-seat passengers) it goes forward and then backwards to a certain set point. It's kinda wierd, because when you use the buttons to move the seat forward and backwards, it doesn't work...only works by using the lever.

I think this shows that the motor is still good. My technician thinks that there may be a problem with the seat control unit. Does anyone know where I can get a used one or how much a new one would cost me? My car is already out of warranty, so I need to save money big time. I hope I explained this good enough. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
