Tyres - should i go for economy? 850

The pirelli p zero's on the front of my t5 will need changing soon, and i was wondering if anyone out there has used budget tyres. I dont drive in a style that would need high grip tyres. if i go for budget tyres then they are half the price of branded ones. As i am a poor student this saving is quite a bit to me.

any advice....
