I have 87,000 miles on my T-5 850 wagon. I noticed in the manual that Volvo recommends synthetic oil.My mechanic has always used Castrol 10/30, changing the oil every 2,500 to 3,000 miles without fail.Does it make sense to switch to synthetic or should I stick with my current maintenance program?
