I'm about to replace the plugs on my T5 with some Denso Iridium IK20's (15,000 mile point) and was wondering how difficult it was to remove the turbo intercooler crossover pipe to get it out of the way of the spark plug cover. Looks simple enough with the hose clamps on the tube plus the screw on the cylinder head, but I just wanted to check.
Alloemvolvoparts.com lists the IK20 as the proper iridium plug for the S60 2.4 (No listing at all for the T5) but the Denso site lists the IQ20 plug. They appear to be the same plug, except the IQ is an "ISO" plug, whatever that means. Both have the same heat range, so either should be fine. Is there any difference otherwise between the two? Especially if there was a difference in the electrode connection?
Also, torque on the plug was listed at brickboard as about 22 ft-lb--is this a valid number? I use torque wrenches on everything, including the oil drain bolt and oil filter, so I just want to be sure.
Thanks.
