rear brake howl 850 1995

Ever since I bought my 850t wagon back in the spring, my rear brakes howl some times. They mainly seem to do it when I am cornering and especially after rain or a car wash. They wont howl while the brakes are applied. I checked the pads and they look ok....do I need different shims, brake lube, exorcism? Thanx.
