What are the BEST brake pads on the market?

Hello everyone!

Looking to replace the pads on my volvo 850R wagon. What are the best pads on the market? Is OEM the best, or is it worth the gamble to go with someone like PBR or Mintex? Any other options you recommend? Please advise.

Also, is FCP-groton a good outfit to buy from?
