About 15,000 miles ago my 850GLT transmission abruptly lost its reverse and began "freewheeling" in low gear. The forward gears have been fine. Since then, I have replaced the 4.3 ECU and had the transmission flushed, each to no success. I have been advised to replace the transmission. Will the 1998 V70 AW50-42LE bransmission interchange with the 1993 850 GLT transmission? If so, are there any subtle differences? Many thanks.
