Come on... can't we do better than that?

I have a 97 850T-5 and the key fob door remote stopped working. I have replaced the batteries but it appears as if the 2 button key fob itself is worn out. I wanted to find out if anyone had a good source (other than the dealership who wants $100.00 - ya right) for a NEW replacement key fob? The best I got last time was "I think I saw one on Ebay." Come on, Volvo's are marvels of engineering, which means that if this is happening to me, its happening to a lot of other people too. HELP!
