How can I tell if my rotors are warped?

I changed my own brake pads abaout 6 months ago and recently there's been a very slight rythmic grind coming from the drivers side wheel-well when I depress the brakes and after I let my foot off it continues until i reach a high enough speed to where it seems to stop by itself. There is also an irregular "clunk" that happens whilst braking and turning on occasion. The only thing I can think of is that my discs are warped or something. I am probably wrong here but maybe you could shed some light?
