I tried to replace the broken rubber bushing in the top engine stabilizer mount on my '95 850 Turbo tonight. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the old bushing to come off. The center piece of the bushing has been seperated from the outer shell of the bushing completely. It's the outer shell that is stuck in the bracket. The IPD instruction suggests using a bushing press, an air hammer or a hacksaw all of which I do not have access to in my garage. I was able to ply off small sections with a screw driver but it was very time consuming. Is there an easier way?
