Power Locks - all are dead.....where to start ??? 850

Hi:
The power locks went dead (all of them). Th eremote does not work either...I replaced the fuse and the realy, but still no go....I can hear a click from the relay when I use the remote, so the power is probably reaching the relay...can it be the failure of the driver's side door locking mechanism ? Would this disable the whole thing ?
Thanks for any tips or similar experiences...
